  5 stars aren’t enough, honestly. The location was great, the people were friendly, there is a pool, a bbq and a deck so you can relax outside (also a hot... read more tub, but we didn’t use it due to the hot temperatures). The inside is well equipped as well, and there are a lot of homemade things that taste/smell delicious! We were completely relaxed by the time we had to leave. If you’re ever thinking about maybe booking a stay here, just do it!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations—the location was... read more stunning, and the accommodation was cozy and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel so special. What really made this trip stand out was the hospitality from Ricardo, Salete, Fernando, and the entire family. Their warmth and genuine care made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and their eagerness to make sure we had a fantastic stay was really something else.

The hot bath under the starts was a dream, and the pool was perfect for cooling off. Our kids absolutely loved the playground and sandpit, and picking fresh, sweet figs from the tree was such a treat for the whole family. We were also spoiled with homemade olive oil, freshly baked bread, and amazing organic soaps, fresh linens —it all felt so personal and thoughtful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—it’s a gem!

Ricardo was a fabulous host. We loved all the little details such as the fresh bread left on the bonnet... read more every morning and the delicious homemade biscuits!
We hired a car and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area.
The e-magazine Ricardo provided was so helpful with suggestions on what to see and do and places to eat and shop.
We travelled with two young children and they had the best time! They loved the pool and hot tub.
It is such a unique location and fun accommodation - we would recommend it to anyone!

  What an amazing project! Ricardo is really passionate about what he does. This is evident in all the little details that made our stay memorable. We loved the freshly made... read more bread in the morning, the artisanal soaps, bus tickets etc. Very fun place to stay with kids. We stayed here on our way between Porto and the Algarve coast, and made a day trip to Obidos during our stay.
